What starts out as a typical looking techno-drama actually turns into something that might have a little bit more depth, a bit more meat on its bones. With Tom Hanks (who is choosing some decent roles of late), Emma Watson (who has always done pretty well with her film choices IMO), Karen Gillan (beginning to make a real decent name for herself) and John Boyega (getting some big films under his acting belt) involved it should be an interesting watch. Is Hanks actually playing a bad guy in this? Can that be true?
I’m always intrigued by book adaptations, particularly if the book has been well received (and not just has high sales figures!). Might ask for the book for Christmas, hope Santa is listening (and I’ve been good this year……)
